Taking a CX-driven approach for SON - using CDR big data analytics, CellMining’s Subscriber Experience Hub features helpful dashboards and reports featuring subscriber insights. One set of reports addresses Device Incompatibility, where quality issues observed on cells - 2G, 3G and 4G, are correlated with device make and model. These reports can highlight:

  • Device software updates that often introduce glitches on specific versions, necessitating an action to be taken by device vendors themselves
  • Foreign roamers that may introduce device-network incompatibility for example when their home 3G network is of a different variant than the visited 3G one
