Zia is responsible for the management and marketing of our engineering team and associated products. Zia has over ten years experience in the design, test and optimisation of mobile networks throughout Asia Pacific.

Until recently Zia was regional head network planning and optimisation for GTL Limited with general management responsibilities in Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia and Australia. This involved him in new project planning, resource planning, oraganisational set up as well as driving business development and management for network planning and optimisation services in APAC. In that role he had line management responsibility for seventy odd RF engineers and twenty plus support staff.

Earlier he worked for NSN and Alcatel Lucent with responsibility for design, dimensioning and roll out of 2G/3G networks in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. In those roles he managed multi-skilled teams of up to thirty engineers to deliver high value, time critical projects.

Zia holds a BE Electrical Engineering (Telecom) from the National University of Science & Technology, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
