TeleResources represents satellite engineering firm Aurastar and its innovative network design software. In 2006 Aurastar replaced its individual software offerings with a single product capable of designing an entire network or a simple link.
AuraGateway is designed to provide support to a wide and diverse user group. - Design Engineers will find it an invaluable aid in synthesizing complex satellite networks and running link analysis for any element of the network
- Marketing Executives will use it for synthesizing networks on-the-fly at such times as they work directly with their clients
- Site Selection teams will find it provides unparalleled support for the selection, analysis, processing and management of earth station sites.
- Corporations will come to depend on it as a dynamic database documenting their corporate networks, and providing a solid analytical tool for support of What If scenarios
- Consulting Firms will develop expansion modules to add their own areas of expertise, yet build on the inherent capabilities in the tool
- Government Agencies will benefit from the ability to assess prospective satellite network acquisitions, and provide better focus to their network procurements
- Regulatory Agencies will find it offers unparalleled capabilities in understanding complex networks, and the inner workings of those networks.
Satellites from Asia, Europe and the United States are included, each with relevant frequency bands that have been incorporated into AuraGateway. The user can easily add transponders to any satellite with a simple context menu. For the individual with a limited feel for appropriate values, a default set is a button click away.
AuraGateway offers flexible approaches to link analysis, regardless of whether the link will use digital or analog modulation, and whether the user is trying to optimize resources at the satellite transponder, the uplink site, or simply wants stellar end-to-end link performance.
When the team is selecting sites, AuraGateway interfaces with a GPS directly in order to support the logging of multiple candidates for any given site. Later, there will be time to decide which to discard and which to transfer to a permanent sites database for more analysis. If the GPS is not present or not functional, manual mode is available.
