TeleResources Engineering (Aust) Pty Ltd is a telecommunications consulting company specialising in the radiocommunications market. We are committed to complying with the Privacy Amendment Act 2000. Our business requires us to collect personal information from candidates when they first register with us in order that we can evaluate their skills and assess their suitability for prospective job roles with our clients.
We will only collect information that is relevant for our purposes and we will not transfer your information without your permission. All information is safeguarded in our secure database system for as long as is required and will be destroyed when it is no longer useful to us or when requested to do so. Personal information from you is not sold, traded or rented to any other parties.
Collection of Personal Data
Personal information collected by TeleResources is volunteered by candidates registering with our company for the purpose of securing contract employment. The information collected may relate to your work experience, work performance, qualifications, completion of Application and Skills forms, medical history and medical results, information from referees and any other information that may be required for in the contracting process. This may include Tax File Numbers, Bank details, Superannuation details and relevant immigration information.
Use and Disclosure of Information
All Information may be accessed by employees of TeleResources is used for the sole purpose of gaining you contract employment. We may ask your permission to disclose certain information to our clients. We may do so in writing, over the telephone or by email. If you indicate that you wish to be considered generally for any available/suitable positions, your consent will be taken as given. Your personal information may also be disclosed to referees.
We may disclose your information without your consent in the following cases: - Where it is necessary to provide you with employment services
- To our related companies
- To organisations which have requested us to provide services to you or who cooperate with us in providing products or services
- Where we are authorised or required to by law
Access to and Correction of Information
Individuals may at any time access their data held by TeleResources upon request and with provision of adequate identification. From time to time we may contact you to update your personal information. If you choose not to respond to such contact, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of your information.
Transborder Data Flows
TeleResources Head office is based in Sydney Australia. We also provide services for many international clients. We undertake to never send or disclose your information to overseas organisations without your consent. TeleResources will take every precaution to prevent unauthorised overseas disclosure of your personal information. However our responsibility ceases once we have disclosed your information (by consent) to our client and that client forwards your details to a further party.
